The tropical storm has finally passed through NC. It's left major flooding along the coast. I'm sure glad I went to the beach last week!
I got some mums for the deck and since it's simply gorgeous out today I sat out for a bit. I thought the hummers were gone but I just saw one at the feeder. I won't take the feeder down until I'm sure they have all flown to a warmer climate.

I videod this from inside the french door. They don't seem to mind that.

The bird you hear is NOT the hummingbird. It is a noisy little bird that was sitting on the bird feeder.

It was the perfect weather to be outside ... mid 80's and low humidity. Even the birds were enjoying the weather.
Samson has gotten so big, and I must admit he has settled down some.
Of course there are no pictures of me since I take all the pictures, and for some unknown reason, I didn't get any of Jessica. Sorry Jess!

This is a red-headed woodpecker poking it's head out of the hole in the tree.
